1. What this covers

This policy explains how Exposql Checklist uses cookies and similar technologies on checklist.exposql.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let websites remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies include localStorage and pixel tags. In this policy we use the term "cookies" to cover all of them.

3. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work, for example to keep you signed in. These are always on and cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics. Help us understand site usage in aggregate. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation. Off by default until you accept.
  • Marketing. Reserved for future advertising measurement. Off by default. We do not currently run advertising pixels.

4. Specific cookies and storage we set

  • Authentication cookie (necessary): keeps you signed in. Issued by NextAuth, expires when you sign out.
  • exposql.consent.v1 (necessary): stores your cookie choices for one year.
  • _ga, _ga_* (analytics): set by Google Analytics 4 when enabled. Used to distinguish unique users in aggregate. Expire after up to 2 years.
  • localStorage entries (necessary): keep your workspace preferences for instant load. Stored on your device only.

5. Your choices

When you first visit the site we ask for your consent to non essential cookies. You can change your choices at any time using the button below.

You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you disable strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may stop working.

6. Google Consent Mode

We use Google Consent Mode v2. Until you give consent, analytics and advertising signals are denied by default. When you accept, we update consent so analytics can run. When you reject, no analytics is loaded.

7. International users

For users in the EU, UK and Switzerland we apply opt in consent for non essential cookies. For users in California, you have the right under the CCPA/CPRA to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; we do neither, but you can use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page to confirm.
